There’s been a whole lot of reshuffling going on in the past couple of days, from the political landscape to the entertainment sphere. South Africa seems awash with controversy.

And just when everyone thought all the noise was about to die down, The Queen B, better known as Bonang Matheba emerges with another hullabaloo.

Bonang who’s been part of the Metro FM family for three years caused quite a stir and shocked loyal listeners of her Metro FM show “The Front Row” with her sudden resignation from the radio station yesterday. She claims that she’s been undermined by her superiors as she was told about the changes to her show, only an hour before her show went live.

“After 3 years of making magic on the Front Row, I can confirm that I have officially stepped down as the host of the show,” she tweeted.

“My heart is broken. I was told about the changes to my show an hour before going on air today.”

“I will miss my Metro FM family dearly, as they say all good things do come to an end. Looking forward to the next chapter of my radio life.”

This comes after the reshuffling of the Metro FM presenters and Djs, which saw the former drive time show host, Lerato Kganyago joining Queen B on “Ask A Man”.

Matheba hasn’t disclosed what’s going to be her next move with regards to her radio career.
